They took help of Chandler from the famous sitcom Friends to reach their audience. Mumbai Police shared a clip from the sitcom on their Instagram handle to emphasize that stalking is bad.

In the viral video clip, Chandler is seen chatting with Janice on the phone. He apologizes to Janice in advance for having chased her down the street and then dashes out of the door. The message accompanying the clip says, “Could you be more in the wrong? Do not chase her down the streets.”

A Marathi translation was also posted. Mumbai Police was praised by the netizens who loved the humor and the unique approach used to convey an important message.
