Erik ten Hag makes his stance clear after Man Utd duo involved in training fight

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has made it clear to his team that he will not tolerate any negative drama on or off the field in the upcoming season.

The Dutchman demonstrated this by removing Brazilian full-back Alex Telles from the first-team roster just months after he was involved in a fight with colleague Hannibal Mejbri on the practice field. The internal conflict started after United’s humbling 4-0 loss away at Brighton at the close of the previous season, when morale was at its lowest.

Ten Hag developed a strategy right away to bring the team back together. It’s an arrangement that has now been fulfilled, with Telles being moved to Spain to play on loan for Sevilla for a season.Information Guide Nigeria

Hannibal has avoided being exiled; perhaps Ten Hag was won over by the Tunisian international’s work ethic after he recently pledged to help United’s on-field situation improve following their poorest Premier League season in club history.JAMB Result

It became even more obvious that Ten Hag thought Telles was not wanted when he recently acquired Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord. Despite the fact that the choice is mostly motivated by performance, it is possible that Ten Hag did not appreciate learning about the altercation with Telles in May and may be trying to get the attention of the team as a whole.

Ten Hag is sending a message to the rest of his Old Trafford troops by making an example out of Telles that fights on the practice field and other unruly behavior won’t be tolerated under his leadership.
