Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is interested in bidding on Washington officials, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Bezos’ bid for the group could include music mogul Jay-Z as an investor, according to the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity Thursday as part of the sale of the franchise.

“I don’t know if they’ll be partners on it,” the man said, adding that each “has an interest.”
