Kansas State football adds two more defensive backs to roster

Kansas State coach Chris Klieman and his staff continued their spring football recruiting blitz Saturday by picking up two more defensive backs for the upcoming season.

The first to commit was cornerback Javione Carr, a transfer from Arizona, and shortly after Tyler (Texas) junior college defensive back announced that he had already signed with the Wildcats on a recruiting visit this week.

Carr, a 5-foot-11, 182-pound freshman from Arlington, Texas, redshirted last fall at Arizona and will have four years of eligibility left. He comes from the same Sam Houston High School program that produced former K-State defensive back Reggie Stubblefield.
