Michigan State football listed in Lindy’s preseason top 25

Michigan State cracked Lindy’s preseason top 25 for the upcoming college football season.

The preseason poll from Lindy’s was recently released, and the Spartans were one of the 25 teams to make the list. Michigan State came in at No. 20 on the list – which is rather low compared to similar preseason polls coming out.

Here’s what was written about the Spartans:

“The Spartans piled up players in the transfer portal and hope veteran leadership on offense can help replace the production of Doak Walker winner Kenneth Walker and his obvious impact in the ground game. Three new starters along the offensive line might be concerning. The secondary was college football’s worst in 2021, so improvements needed there are obvious as well. ”

Other Big Ten teams listed in Lindy’s preseason poll include Ohio State (No. 2), Michigan (No. 6) and Wisconsin (No. 16).
