‘This will be close’: A race forecaster reveals more bad news for Democrats just days before the midterm elections.
The Cook Political Report adjusted its ratings for Republicans ahead of Election Day for another battleground race, giving the GOP a big edge in the Wisconsin Senate race.
The political forecast on Friday turned the race between incumbent Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Democratic Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes into a “lean Republican.”
“Like most Wisconsin elections, this one will be close, but voters need to remember: Mandela Barnes is a fanatic who wants the same Biden economic policies that drove 40 years of high inflation and record gas prices, and he wants to pay back,” Johnson campaign spokesman Mike Marinella told Fox News Digital.
Barnes did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
